Stakester is a mobile app that enables players to wager on popular titles for real cash rewards and prizes. As part of a brand overhaul, Stakester sought a refreshed identity that resonated with its gaming audience while reflecting modern design trends.

The process began with developing a custom wordmark and selecting a complementary type pairing. Inspiration was drawn from iconic gaming typefaces featured in FIFA and Call of Duty.

Vibrant background hues mirror lighting commonly seen in e-sports tournaments, while abstract shapes and gradients express the energy and playfulness of gaming culture.
